The government will tend to do this by enacting policies and rules that are geared towards the protection of both talent and ability. Talent and ability are one of the greatest resources of any given country since as the individuals become creative in the efforts to enrich themselves resource wise, they, in turn, lead to the growth and development of the whole country and its inhabitants. It is certain that property in the beau monde is not divided equally and the property that is not divided equally exist in different forms which include the following- there is the category which involves both set down or business property. Professional document (letter or memo) Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 750 words

Professional document (letter or memo) - Essay ExampleThese advances acquire made it possible for the human resource to perplex up with proper recommendations. The recommendations are aimed at improving the work rate displayed by the sales force. The work rate has decreased significantly as their team spirit has been diminished by the implementation of the acquit for performance reward ashes. Proposal As much as the pay form performance reward scheme is appropriate and practical, some adjustments need to be done to incorporate all the condition different individuals have in the sale force. In the current pay for performance system all sales people are entitled to pay depending on their performance. Their performance is measured by the quantity of stock they have turned to cash. The commission paid does not include any other form of reward or incentive. In my proposal, all sales people should be entitled to a fixed hire rate. However, the salary should be half the salary of th e required pay. The rest of their pay should then be based on commission. This will at least create a balanced operation ground among all the sales employees. According to Miner, the implementation of this move will indirectly motivate employees (34). The motivation will significantly translate to a more active sales force. My proposal in adjustment of the pay for performance system to a fault involves the giving of extra incentives to the most performing sales people. This will not only give the sales force something to look forward to, barely the sales in the organization will increase significantly. Additionally, this move will make the bonus system of the pay for performance system more practical. rationale The welfare of the employees should be the most significant factor to be considered when implementing the proposals. As the main body of ensuring that consumers needs are satisfied the organization should be real considerate when dealing with them. Additionally, the level o f equity upset should be considered before formulating any reward system. Rewards system should be dictated by the amount of sales the organization makes at each quarter. Implementation There should be a proper recording system in which the turnover figure for each employee is recorded. The turnover figures should determine whether or not an employee will receive a bonus. The turnover figure should be recorded after each quarter. As originally recommended by the pay for performance system, the reward system should be as follows 100% over salary for the billmost sales person 60% for the second top 30% for the third and fourth and no extra for the rest. As internationally recommended, all employees in the sales force should be entitled to a salary that is constant to all of them. Just as the initial reward system, there will be oppositions raised against these proposals. However, as stated by Miner, the consistency of a reward system is very important (235). If the advantages of a r eward system are many than the disavantages, then the rewards system should be fully implemented and with clipping all employees will feel justly rewarded and treated. The management should also be fair when it comes to awarding of bonuses and incentives. With high stakes and topping the turnover figures, employees could be tempted to view as dubious operational skills. To curb this, the organization should come up with company rules and regulations which will govern the mode in which the sales force operates. This will also create equality in the

Cyperethics - Article ExampleExplain this difference, and the role this difference plays in his theory. Also, make sure to explain how, according to Mill, one can tell whether a pleasure is higher or lower quality. When Mill says this, he refers to the existing difference between the amount of pleasure and the level of value each eccentric of pleasure may have. In this case, quantity motivates some people to ingest a certain pleasure while quality may motivate others to choose a different type of pleasure because of the value attached to it. He explains that, it is possible to determine pleasure of low or high quality (Mill, 2008). If a certain type of pleasure (P1) is preferred by people, irrespective of its low amount compared to a higher amount of a different pleasure (P2), wherefore it means that P1 is of a higher value compared to P2.Mill refers to the argument of opponents of utilitarianism that utility is opposed to pleasure as an ignorant blunder. This is because it is evid ent that utilitarianism seeks to consider pleasure itself as well as a condition free of pain and does not oppose it (Mill, 2008). This is the reason why he considers it a measure of ignorance to claim that utilitarianism is against pleasure.6. Kant argues that specious promises (promises you have no intention of keeping) are morally wrong. Explain why he thinks they are wrong based on his first formulation of the monotone Imperative (it is in bold on p. 24 from our excerpt).According to Kants first formulation of the categorical imperative, it is wrong to give false promises when one is sensible that he or she may not fulfill them. Since an individual wouldnt want giving false promises to become a universal law of nature, he or she should focus on keeping promises as that would be a

Analyzing Psychological Disorders EssaySchizophrenia is a mental illness that is chronic and severe. It dirty dog be a modify illness that affects men and women with the same ratio or frequency. This term is from a Greek word that means having a split soul. Though this practise in medical terms is not accurate. The Western perception of this illness is their belief that the term is equal to a derange of split slightlybodyality. They acknowledge been fix to be very distinct mental swages. People afflicted with schizophrenic psychosis do not manifest split personalities. Schizophrenia is an illness hat affects the mind and is characterized by the disability of perceptions and manifestations of reality. Schizophrenia has five classifications. The first is the paranoid type where hallucinations and delusions be present but there is absence of disorganized behavior, thought disorder and active flattening. The disorganized type of schizophrenia occurs when active flattening and thought disorder be both present. Catatonic schizophrenia occurs when there is evidence of psychomotor disturbances. in that respect is the presence of psychotic emblems in the undifferentiated type but there is also absence of criteria for the other types of schizophrenia. The residual type is wherein all the symptoms of the mental disorder is present at low level of intensity. Signs and symptoms for people with schizophrenia suffer from delusions and false faith in their personal convictions despite the presentation of evidence disproving the matter. This symptom is not explained by a persons cultural background and orientation. Those afflicted also suffer from hallucinatory perceptions that can manifest when there is a lack of immaterial diversion. The most common type of hallucination is the hearing of voices and other sounds. There is also the manifestation of disorganized attitude, behavior and thoughts. Speech is also incoherent and disorganized. The person suffering f rom this type of mental disorder display catatonic behavior wherein the persons body may become rigid and unresponsive. The causes of schizophrenia are unknown. There are a lot of factors that are said to be involved with the formation of this illness. There is an interaction between hereditarys, biology, psychology and the environment that leans to the mental disorder. Medical acquisition does not have a full understanding of all the causes and other concerns related to the mental disorder. Recent research and medical studies is slowly but for sure manoeuvres improvement and progress that would help define the causes of schizophrenia and their explanation. An increase in the dopaminergic activity that is inside the mesolimbic pathway of the brain is a constant and significant determination (Bentall 2005).Data gathered from a PET study shows suggestions that the lesser frequency the frontal lobes are activated during a task that involves a working retention there is a greater increase in the abnormality of dopamine activity in the striatum that is though to be related to deficits in neurocognition in schizophrenia. While the credibility of the diagnosis has introduced many difficulties in the measurement of the relative effect of genes and the factor of environment, more and more evidence have suggested that environmental and genic factors can combine and create a reaction that would lead to the mental disorder of schizophrenia.Suggestions have also been made regarding the diagnosis of schizophrenia had an important genetic composition but that is influenced by the stressors or factors relating to the environment. The concept of a vulnerability that can be inherited from by some people can be destroyed by psychological, biological and environmental stressors. This is known as the stress-diathesis model. The idea that psychological, biological and social factors is more significant is called the biopsychosocial model in analyzing the causes of schizophre nia (Goldner, Hsu 2002).The good degree and frequency of hereditary causes in schizophrenia has a tendency to vary because of the difficulty in the separation of the effects of the environment and genetics. Twin studies have both suggested that there is a high rate of cases involving schizophrenia caused by genetic factors. It is possible that schizophrenia is a mental condition that is complicated in hereditary nature with many genes correspondingly interacting to increase the jeopardize of schizophrenia or the separate parts that can also occur that will lead to its diagnosis.Studies in genetics have implied that genes that increase the take a chance of infection for the suppuration of schizophrenia are not specific and may also increase the risk of teaching of other psychotic disorders. A breakthrough in recent research also suggested that very rare copies or omissions of small DNA sequences within the genes that are known as copy number variants were also related to the i ncreased rate of risk for the development of schizophrenia (Noll 2006). It has also been thought that factors that cause schizophrenia can combine in the early development of the human brain during pregnancy. This would later increase the risk of developing schizophrenia. One finding that raised a great amount of curiosity is that people who were diagnosed with the mental illness is said to have been more possibly born in spring or winter in those living in the northern hemisphere of the planet. There is current evidence that exposure to infections during the prenatal stage can increase the risk of the development of schizophrenia in the age of maturity. This finding provides additional proof that linked the utero-developmental pathology with the risk of developing the mental disorder.Social conditions also help the increased risk of schizophrenia. People who are living in a highly urbanized environment have been found out to be exposed to great risk of being afflicted with the menta l disorder. Poverty, poor living conditions and social status has also been found to contribute to the risk factor. Migration of people that is related to social problems like racial discrimination, unemployment and people coming from broken families also become factors of developing schizophrenia. There has been an implication made regarding the risk factor of childhood abuse and wound that can cause schizophrenia later on in life. Lack of support and family dysfunctions also increase the risk but not directly committed to parenting. Substance use have also been found to increase the risk of schizophrenia but the relationship of this link is found to be complex. There has been some difficulty in distinguishing a clear relationship of substance use and the mental disorder. There is also solid evidence that the usage of certain embezzled substances can start the onset or relapse of the mental illness in some people. These people who were diagnosed with schizophrenia use these substan ces to overcome negative emotions that comes with the uptake of anti-psychotic medication and the mental condition itself. Negative feelings of paranoia and anhedonia were considered to be primary characteristics. The ingestion of amphetamines can trigger the brain to release dopamine that would increase dopamine activity. It is this unwarranted increase in activity that it is known to be partially responsible for the manifestation of psychotic symptoms of the mental disorder. This is partially supported by the idea that amphetamines can worsen the symptoms present in schizophrenia. This type of mental disorder can be triggered by heavy usage of stimulants and hallucinogens. One study has suggested the that the use of ganja contributes to the occurrence of psychosis though some researchers suspect that the use of this substance was only a small part of the many factors of schizophrenia (Green 2002). There is also a number of psychological reasons that have been implicated in the d evelopment and sustainability of schizophrenia.A number of cognitive biases have been named in those that have been diagnosed and those that are at risk especially when there is the application of stress or in a state of confusion overly increased attention to potential threats, arriving at conclusions and damage reasoning. There is also the manifestation of difficulty in differentiating from inner speech mechanism to one coming from an external entity and difficulty in retaining concentration. Case Studies disquiet Tom is an engineer, he is happily married, and he is the father of three bright, wellnessy children.By all appearances, his life is stable and satisfying. Tom, however, suffers from continual worry that he has a difficult time turning off. His anxiety may center on anything from his perceived health problems (he has recently been to his doctor for a physical, but no health issues were discovered) to money and job responsibilities. At times his anxiety peaks to the poin t that it interferes with his ability to function on the job. Physical symptoms include muscle tension, headaches, and hot flashes that often fall out Toms anxiety.Tom often feels nauseated, and he becomes easily fatigued. When he feels anxious, Tom has difficulty concentrating, he becomes irritable, and he has difficulty falling asleep at night. All of these symptoms have been present for the last 6 months. Tom has tried to talk himself out of his anxiety, but this has not worked for him. Toms wife is supportive, but she does not know what to do for her husband (Hauser, 2005). Neural circuitry involving the amygdala and hippocampus is thought to underlie anxiety. When confronted with unpleasant and potentially harmful stimuli such as foul odors or tastes, PET-scans show increased bloodflow in the amygdala. Possible mechanism is malfunction in the parabrachial nucleus, a structure in the brain, that among other functions, coordinates signals from the amygdala with input concerning b alance. The amygdala is involved in the emotion of fear. Biochemical factors come into play. Low levels of GABA, a neurotransmitter that reduces overactivity in the central nervous system, contributes to anxiety. A number of anxiolytics achieve their effect by modulating the GABA receptors.

Napoleon is based on the real life person Joseph Stalin, who ruled the Soviet Union for 30 years. The name Napoleon comes from the French general Napoleon Bonaparte, who was power crazy and a dictator. In the book Napoleon is a bad pig from the beginning. He fights along with his fellow pig, Snowball to free the farm from humans but later on starts making some suspicious decisions such as drinking the milk that the animals have worked for and victorious the puppies of Jessie and Bluebell for himself. Napoleon takes over by sending his dogs after(prenominal) Snowball, who runs away, do to fear. Slowly but surely we see him take one step at a time towards the crown of being the only leader. For example he changes the seven Commandments rules against cleanup position, drinking, and sleeping in bed. All the animals are forced to work on the dot as hard as before the rebellion and they dont even get enough food. Napoleon makes the other animals fear him by killing the animals that have made wrong decisions and starving some of them because they dont do as he says. Soon enough everyone does as he wishes and behaves after his will. Napoleon praises himself for all the things that he has done for the animals which in the end is nothing.

Political philosophy Essay Example for Free

Political philosophy EssayJohn Locke, an English philosopher, used the idea of natural laws to use up vital contributions to society. He worked his way up through Westminster School and Oxford and enrolled in the Church of England. He was interested in science and became one of the best practitioners of his time. With Lockes connections, he met men of England but was in any case suspected for being disloyal. He went to Holland and returned in 1688, after the revolution. Locke made an influence on political philosophy including juvenile liberalism. Two Treatises of Government was his most powerful writing where he claims to tell the story of politics. But he did not present that he was the author until close-fitting his death. In his writing, Locke explains the difference between political power and paternal power. He wanted mess to be comfortable with independent political thought, or in other words take the road less traveled. Also, Locke believed that first you must unders tand that politics come from the state of nature and natural law in order to understand political power.Lockes natural law says that individuals take care of others. Locke wanted to create a better government that would consider whole people, not a government with kings and nobles. He believed that there should be no one to enforce laws and that neither good nor evil existed in nature. Locke also believed that the people of nature are created equal and have rights to all things. Because of this, a constant state of war exists. Locke wanted people to act more responsible and virtuously and face their consequences if there were any.His influence on organizational behavior and theory impacted the founders of the United States principles. Locke was a creator of the idea of the separation of powers. He also influenced the modern educational theory. His theories are strong when it comes to prosperity, scarcity, money, and property. He claims the government must protect and individuals pr ivate business and property. He believed that if there was a general increase in wealth it would lead to the increase for common good.Lockes liberalism influenced the United States of America with the Declaration of Independence. He will always be known as the Father of Liberalism. He distrusted government power and proved a statement. He believed that an individuals right is more important than honorable a king democracy. He left a legacy of theories for religion, economics, human understanding, and politics. Works Cited Griffith, F, Mark.. John Lockes Major Works. Wireless Sensor Networks for Disaster Management

Wireless Sensor geltworks for Disaster ManagementAbstract The world we be animation is an event for disasters daily. Some of the disasters are naturally occurring and some occurring due to man-made catastrophes. So not only nature but also human beings are equally answerable for the happenings of these disasters. With the developments in the technologies it is very(prenominal) much possible to go a way to tackle these disasters. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) squirt be utilise in the developments of disaster wariness. Hence there is a need for development of a system for the disaster control and counseling. Also, keeping in mind near developing a structure which is efficient in terms of functioning and the costing. With this paper, we attempt to present some literature study and methodology utilize by other authors and expose the pros and cons in their study. Also, we try to remainsulate an analysis of the proposed studies.Keywords- Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), Disa ster management.IntroductionWith the advancements in the WSNs it is possible now to detect and manage mingled parameters in our surroundings. The sensors in a net profits help us to monitor and keep track on the various paramenters. These parameters include temperature for kick upstairs spotting, flow mesurement for detection of floods, Global Positioning System (GPS) for location trackink to name a few. With the monitoring of these parameters we can detect any disaster and with the network executing we can be able broadcast the information. The broadcasting of information would help to reach many people and will alert the people, so that they can move to a safer place. In this paper we will be discussing about the iplementation done in the field of disaster management and would be focussing on the various aspects of the WSNs. The architecture details, componets used, networks used are some of the things to be discussed. Other than WSN, the use of Ad-hoc pass station, mobile communication, stem turn station functions, cell and foregather functions are also being discussed. The implementation of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) in a system has been done by many researchers over the years and there are various techniques of implementing them. phylogenesis and updating of technologies has made this even more possible. A.S Bhosle et al.1 presented classification of various sensors depending upon its function and about the different types of WSN protocols. The network consists of wireless sensor nodes, sink nodes, base stations, a gateway for information transferring, a backbone network and an observer at the output side. The WSN protocols are responsible for the communication between a sensor and the network winds in a network. The sensors can be classified ground on their physical properties. These include the flow, positioning, temperature, pressure, acceleration etc. D.V Kishore et al. 2 discussed about the problems of disasters occurring at a exploi t or excavation location. The main concern in the article was about the blasts occurring in the mines and the consequences of that being an plus amount of air pollution, noise pollution and an increase in the chances of accidents in the mine area. They provided a hardware architecture using the traditional electronic components and with the help of that demonstrated the ways of tackling a mishap. S.Saha et al. 3 proposed an architecture which was based on mobile communication network. The use of mobile communication concepts wish well cluster, cell, base station and frequency usage was discussed within the architecture. S. Rasaneh et al. 4 proposed an energy resourceful poser and implementing the model with an additional communication network would make it more efficient. The model implementation included a hybrid network and a multi hop routing technique for the efficient energy usage. Also, the model implementation included deployment of sensors in various types of environments and depending upon that the sensing operations can be performed. With the use of multi-hop there will be less chances of signal loss or distortions. Thus, in this way the model can become more efficient. S.M. George et al. 5 proposed a Distress network for disaster management and the system architecture consists of 3 components a Body Net, Sense Net, Vehicle Net Area Net. Body Net is a body worn WSN device which is used to keep a continuous track on the various aspects of a person like heartbeat, blood pressure, location etc. Sense Net is used for sensing the information and is mainly used keeping track of the monitored data. Vehicle Net is responsible for the detection of any disaster is also responsible for the transmission of information. Area Net is used for carrying large volumes of data and as it supports large bandwidth so that helps in get outing images, videos and audio data. Kaur, Harminder et al. 6 proposed an architecture consisting of a cluster, an Ad-hoc network, b ase station, aerial and a satellite. Using these components an efficient disaster can be created. The architecture works on the principle of multi hopping. After the literature analysis of various articles, we now focus on the methods used in the implementation part of the article. A.S Bhosleet al. 1 in his proposed model demonstrated a disaster about when fire breaks out. claim in a network, there is a fire exposed area there are more than one sensors to champion the fire, these sensors can for example thermistor, RTD, thermocouple junction etc. The wireless sensor node detects the fire and searches for the nearest sink node, then the sink node verifies the collected data with its predefined threshold pry. If the threshold value is less than the have data, then a warning signal is send to the end user via base station and the backbone network. If the threshold is greater than received data, then an emergency message is send to the end user via base station and backbone network . D.V Kishore et al. 2 proposed a hardware architecture which had a transmitter and a receiver section. The sensors collected the sensed data as per their property, the various sensors deployed were gas sensor, light sensor, temperature sensor and vibration sensors. The sensed value is converted to digital form by the analogue to digital converter and then is given to the multiplexer, the multiplexer then encodes all the sensed determine and sends them to the transmitter and then the transmitter antenna transmits these values to the receiver section. The receiver antenna receives the transmitted values and these values are send to the de-multiplexer. The de-multiplexer then decodes the values and sends them to the microcontroller. The microcontroller then sends the decoded values to the output devices and we can underwrite the output. S.Saha et al. 3 in proposed a heterogenous hybrid model of a network and sensors. The focus was providing a better network coverage and to limit the usage of Ad-hoc relay station (ARS). This was achieved by simply placing the ARS at the edges of the cell and with that the ARS was shared by multiple cells. Sensors nodes were placed in a cell to sense various parameters like temperature, vibrations, location, light intensity etc. In a disaster situation, the sensor nodes help in detection of the survivors. After detection, the information is passed to the mobile communication network and the ARS and the base station are responsible for the effective communication between the network. S. Rasaneh et al. 4 proposed a structure using a simple cluster model of a communication network consisting of sensor nodes, head nodes, second level head nodes and base station. The sensor nodes are used to sense different functions accordingly these are seismic vibrations for earthquake, temperature for fire, flow measurement for floods, weather sensors for humidity etc. In a disaster situation, the sensor nodes in a cluster firstly sense the vario us parameters as per their individual sensor properties and then send the collected data to the second level cluster head and then a cluster head receives all the data from other second level cluster heads from every cluster. Then, the base station receives all the data from the cluster heads. The data is send from a second level cluster to the cluster head to have an efficient data flow without any signal losses. This structure uses the multi-hop technique so that data can transmission can be done efficiently. Kaur, Harminer et al. 6 proposed an architecture involving usage of a mobile network, radio and satellite communication. During any disaster, the sink nodes collects data from the local sensors and ARS. The data is then collected by the base station with the help of the sink nodes in the network. The base station sends the data to the antenna and the antenna broadcasts the signals to the satellite. The satellite then sends the warning about the disaster to the local hospitals and the ambulance. There are various gaps in the above discussed articles. We cannot be relying on an architecture that is a hardware based as within any kind of disaster it cannot be accurate and depending upon the intensity and how powerful the disaster is the hardware with not take for and would surely be damaged. Also about the deployment of ARS in the edges of cell, then the signal handling capacity of the ARS gets affected and this produces latency in the network. This affects the performance of the architecture. In the fire disaster system, the distance between the cluster and the operating network is very large and if there is any latency introduced in the network, then it would be very late for the signaling about the disaster. With the developments in the field of Wireless Sensor networks we can surely be opting on trying and formulating new ways to find solution to these problems. Also with the ongoing problems in terms of disasters there is a need to do to. After the stu dy, there are still many developments that can be done in many aspects of the architecture, technology used and the components used. The focus must be on trying new developments and if possible go to find the solutions of the current problems related with the disaster management. WSN can help in predetermining of the any disaster and we can then alert everybody about it.References1A. S. Bhosle and L. M. Sound Technique In Citizen Kane Film Studies Essay

Sound Technique In Citizen Kane Film Studies EssayThe dramatic painting Citizen Kane in 1941 is a story of group of reporters that are trying to interpret the last words of Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles), who is the millionaire newspaper business man, Rosebud and to examine his lifestyle. The film starts with a news roll detailing Kanes life, and after that the film shows the audience flashbacks from his life and illustrates to the audience of a man who had everything and anything he wanted to a man who died and had nothing. The newsreel reporter Jerry Thompson (William Alland) starts to investigate the people from Kane past such as friends, l everyplaces and colleagues to identify the real meaning of Rosebud. The first slam in the movie when Kane is dying and holding the lechatelierite glass globe in his hand because he whispered a word that is t for each oned spoken by enormous, mouth that fill the screen ROSEBUD. When he said it, no one could hear him because he said it in a low tone however, only the only whenler heard it. The buy the farm of Kane saying it and all the noise and silence in the first place he dies illustrates to the audience that the word is something of the essence(predicate) in the movie and makes them think about the mystery of the movie. After he has pronounced his last dying words, the crystal glass globe rolls from his hand the ball jumps down two steps (stairs) and smashes into pieces. The audience hears a obstreperously beat when the crystal glass globe shatters into minute pieces the honorable of the shattering globe indicates that the Kane is heartbroken. Through the unclear lens of the globe a nurse is seen entering the room. She lays out the body of Kanes dead body and the symphony that has been suspended in a minor key finishes on a main unisonal tones. (Spurr Cameron, 2009). Then the scene cuts suddenly to news announcement, full of loud medicament that makes the audience forget about the previous scene. Ho wever, Rosebud was repeated in more than than one scene that was presented in different type of flutes, bass clarinets, and bassoons to throw a sense of darkness, vagueness and mystery to the audience. Moreover, a scene that started when the camera pans from top to bottom while focuses on the statue. The audience hears break away Andersons voice heard onward she appears in the shot. The feature of her voice is ordinary sound qualities of the room. The size of the room is shown to the audience when both Miss Anderson and Mr. Thompson the reporter are in the same frame. This scene shows the audience the wideness of the large cold stone pillared library room that matches the cold strict character of Miss Anderson. too the sound of Miss Andersons footsteps, as she walks towards the room to give Mr. Thompson the document he needs about Kane. When Miss Anderson opens the door to the room, the sound of the door that the audience hears which shows them the size of the room and the impo rtance of the room. After the conversation between Mr. Thompson and Miss Anderson, and Miss Anderson leaving the room the audience could hear the closing of the door with melody. The sound of the door mixed with music is a transition to the next shot.A next scene shows the audience when Susan Alexander Kane (Dorothy Comingore), who is the Wife of Charles Kane, sitting in her club after the death of her keep up and Thompson comes in to talk with her. Thompson sits down, and then Susan tells him who told you, you could sit down? and he replies, I thought maybe we could have a talk together. Then she replies, Well, think again. wherefore dont you people leave me alone? I am minding my own business. You mind yours. Get out of here. Get out .When she was saying get out she was cheering with a high tone which illustrated to the audience she is mad and upset. Before he comes in the club the audiences hears heavy rain and thunder this in any case demonstrates to the audience the anger, tension, and sadness. Also some other scene, the audience saw that Kane had grown up from a child into an adult in only two shots. As Charless guardian gives him his sled, and Charles wishing him a Merry Christmas and unexpectedly the audience sees another shot of his guardian after almost fifteen years later, and the phrase is completed and a Happy late Year. This showed the audience that he has grown up, and it showed only by continuing the soundtrack.Another scene, when Kane takes his wife Susan to go to a picnic and suddenly slaps her in a dwell near the beach. They are both silently angry at each other while a lady near their tent wildly ledger entry with a loud voice at the background. This illustrated to the audience the misery and sadness of both Kane and Susan. In addition, the director used a numerous number of voices, each saying a sentence or a phrase or sometimes half a sentence and joining the dialogue in an nimble sequence, this action gave the audience an impress ion that the whole town was talking and also knowing what the whole town was talking about. The director also use the over lapping dialogue which made the scene look more realistic to the audience. Moreover, the director used a technique of putting the sound and audio originally of the visual in scene transaction. In other words, when a scene came to a close, the sound and audio would change to the next scene before the consider did. Moreover, the opera rehearsal scene where Kanes wife Susan sings for example, when the camera slowly pans up the walls of the opera hall from Susan beginning her singing presentation to two stagehands both were tone shocked and disgusted of Susans singing. According to Louis Giannetti in Understanding Movies, music is a greatly abstract art, tending toward pure form. When combined with lyrics, music acquires a more focus content because words have specific references. While words and music both express meanings, each does so in a picky manner. With o r without lyrics, music can be more specific when put together with film images. (Giannetti, 2010). Moreover, according to Understanding Movies, one of the most continuing and universal film genres is the musical whose major raison is song and dance. Like opera and ballet, the narrative elements of musical are usually pretexts for the production numbers, but some musicals are exceptionally sophisticated dramatically. (Giannetti, 2010)The films numerous use of mixture allows to create stability between the images and passing of time that would otherwise seem disjointed and disorganized. In a scene that is illustrating Charless hectic actions as a newspaperman, suddenly a scene where it shows people dancing and singing with music in the background after that the scene shifts to another scene and time passes. Also, another scene where Kane and his first wife Emily (Ruth Warrick) are having breakfast, the scene here is presented in an elegant way where both are attired fancily, and ex c suspension system loving words, then the words dies away out after seconds. This scene showed the audience of the timing passing. Moreover, in another scene when Emily is disagreeing with Charles over the suitability of hanging an anonymous gift one of his friends has given their son in the nursery. The music in the background demonstrates to the audience that there is something wrong while still maintaining a distressingly joyful attitude, and Kanes rejection into taking his wife Emily seriously while they are having breakfast. The Sound Technique that is Connected to Another TechniqueCitizen Kane is an excellent example of sounds but it is also connected to different techniques, such as movements and cinematography technique. For example, in Citizen Kane extreme deep focus, diverse camera angles (including low angles that exposed set ceiling) and out-of-the-way use of lighting and deep shadows all these techniques were used in the film. Moreover, Citizen Kane had a storytelling t echnique changeable narrative forms such as the opening of the film when a newsreel man was talking, and then the interviews and the flashbacks.Sounds in GeneralThe music of movies in general has a powerful effect on the audience. The music of any movie is to rag or enhance emotions in the audience. When audiences listen to music a certain emotional feeling the music awakens the memories that the audience faces in the present or past. Moreover, music is able to move through time and leave at two different points at once. symphony helps to enhance the effect of a shot to the audiences. Also, music creates tension in a movie. Citizen Kanes music was considered one of the major things in the movie because the music had an important role when the scene changes from one to another and to invent the emotion and the mood of the film to the audience. The director sometimes used music that would work with the sound effects throughout the film.According to the book Understanding Movies, so und effects also express internal emotions. When there is silence in a film it makes the audience pay more attention to the scene. Any important silences in a film creates to the audience a sense of something approaching or something that is about to happen. Moreover, like the freeze frame, silence in a sound film can be used to represent death, because usually sounds are linked with the presence of continuing life. (Giannetti, 2010). In addition, according to Louis Giannetti, loud sounds tend be forceful, intense, and threatening. On the other hand, quiet sounds strike the audience as delicate, hesitant, and sometimes weak. (Giannetti, 2010)ConclusionIn other words, music in films is highly effective to the audience. Music creates tension, brings out emotions, and is definitely one of the most vital aspects of the cinematic experience. Furthermore, it has shown that music is highly complex and artful it does not only bring the emotional regard on audience by also comprising some o f the most dazzling music produced over the year. (Donnelly, 2001). Moreover, sounds help the audience to understand the movie better and also emphases on the vital parts in the movie.
